our meetings:

We believe the Bible talks about church being a place to meet & eat, share & care, teach & reach. So, our focus for meeting is in small groups each week, meeting in homes, developing caring community. Our focus is on creating a community that cares for one another. In turn, this leads to a group of people equipped and empowered to reach out to the community, showing God's love.

Every 6 weeks (Covid restrictions dependent) we meet together for a celebration event of contemporary Bible teaching, authentic worship and communion and to pray for our community and world.

Home meetings:

We meet each week in homes in Mid-Suffolk. Each week we have a similar format of:

7.30pm         Meet for food together. A simple meal. Bring, share, eat, chat, build relationship

8.30pm         Bible discussion. Over six weeks there will be a series.

Sometimes using video as a stimulus, sometimes discussion points.

The aim is to invite all of us to listen, reflect, contribute and shape thinking on what it means to be a Jesus follower

9.15pm         Pray. It’s not complicated. We thank God for who he is.

We thank him for good things and ask him to help in situations in our world, our community and our lives.

They can be quiet prayers, out loud prayers. All prayers are welcome.

9.30pm         It’s finish time.

When you have community it sometimes means you chat and look out for each other beyond this time.

But not too late now – you may have work in the morning!

But, of course, if you are 'being church' rather than 'attending church', it doesn't stop at the end of the meeting. You can keep in touch with each other during the week by text, phone, social media and in person, particularly if you know someone needs it. Loving each other isn't timetabled into 2 hours - it is a lifestyle. Imagine a community connecting like that . . .

Schedule:

Our meetings follow a theme, usually over 6 weeks.

Sometimes we come together for acoustic & authentic worship, teaching linked to our series, prayer & reflection.

A real opportunity to equip Jesus' followers to live out their faith and for those wanting to find out more about the Christian life.

The next date is TBA
Venue

We don't own expensive buildings. We meet in homes and hire our Sunday Celebration venue.

Money we raise can then go towards serving God and our communities. In fact, that is why we chose 'The Mix' for our celebrations so that the money we spend on hire goes to support a fantastic project that supports young people in our community.

Kids & Youth

We are a group starting out. So there is a lot to get in place and because we love kids and youth and want to get it right for them too. Our plan is to start up kids and youth work, once we have grown a little in number.
